• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
I am currently reading Skeletons by Jane Fallon
Blurb
Jen has discovered a secret.
It’s not hers to share, but is it hers to keep?
If she tells her husband Jason, he might get over the shock but will he forgive her for telling the truth? She might drive a wedge through their marriage.
If she tells someone else in Jason’s family – the family she’s come to love more than her own – she’d not only tear them apart but could also find herself on the outside: she’s never really been one of them, after all.
But if she keeps this dirty little secret to herself, how long can she pretend nothing is wrong? How long can she live a lie?
Jen knows the truth – but is she ready for the consequences? Amazon
I have just finished The Next Time You See Me by Holly Goddard Jones, I really enjoyed this one and my review will be posted very soon!
To read the blurb and a teaser look at my Tuesday Post
Next I plan to read the police procedural Sorrow Bound by the former crime reporter, David Mark.
Blurb
Philippa Longman will do anything for her family.
Roisin McAvoy will do anything for her friends.
DS Aector McAvoy will do anything for his wife.
Yet each has an unknown enemy – one that will do anything to destroy them. Amazon
What are you reading and is it good?
Another Wednesday goes by, another book added to my TBR list from your post! Really like the look of The Next Time You See Me. Happy Reading 🙂

Really want to read your review of “The Next Time You See Me”. I think that’s one to be added to my wishlist. Also curious to find out what you think of the Jane Fallon book. I’ve enjoyed some of her previous books but not all.

I enjoyed the first two of Jane Fallon’s books and then didn’t really enjoy the next two at all (despite one featuring my name, such a rarity) This one is much more my type of read, good characters and sharp humour. I’m crafting my review tonight, I find it so much harder when I really love a book, no-one wants to read a huge gush!!

Oh wow, Sorrow Bound sounds great! I need to look into that one more. I just finished this collection of comics (put together in what seems like a graphic novel) called Batgirl/Robin: Year One which was good!

I’ve heard mixed reviews about David Mark’s writing so I’m approaching this one with care 🙂 The collection of comics sounds like a good idea.

I don’t read a lot of police procedurals (at least if they don’t have a magic/fantasy twist), I’m more into the Hercule Poirot type of murder mysteries, but I’m intrigued that a crime reported has written a police procedural. He must bring a different insider/outsider perspective to the matters.

Yes I’ll be interested to see whether you can tell from his writing what his job was… I love the Agatha Christie books too 🙂
