It’s a while since I’ve done a tag and this one has been featured on a number of my favourite blogger sites. And of course it was a sure fire winner as I have a few books on my TBR!
So I present Cleopatra Loves Books in… books
C- Closed For Winter by Jorn Lier Horst
L – Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
E – East Lynne by Ellen Wood
O – The Orphan’s Tale by Pam Jenoff
P – Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow
A – The Arsenic Labyrinth by Martin Edwards
T – This is Not a Novel by Jennifer Johnston
R – Rage Against the Dying by Becky Masterman
A – American Heiress by Jeffrey Toobin
L – The Last Telegram by Liz Trenow
O – Only Child by Rhiannon Navin
V – The Various Haunts of Men by Susan Hill
E – Elephants Can Remember by Agatha Christie
S – Six Stories by Matt Wesolowski
B – Beneath the Water by Sarah Painter
O – Our Man in Havanna by Graham Greene
O – Off With His Head by Ngaio Marsh
K – Kill Me Twice by Simon Booker
S – Sunset Song by Lewis Grassic Gibbon
So there we are – quite a mixed bag! Which one do you think should be moved to the top of my list?
Definitely The Last Telegram by Liz Trenow. I read it years ago and loved it so much I could easily read it again.

Ooh, I was going to say American Heiress till I saw Sunset Song! You’ll just have to move both of them to the top – Sunset Song because I know it’s great and American Heiress because I want you to tell me if it’s great… 😀

A mixed bag, indeed. I also have Six Stories making its way up myTBR, thanks to MarinaSofia’s review. You’re in for a treat with Life After Life.

If you haven’t read Ngaio Marsh yet, that should be the top. If you have, um, top anyway I love her!

I’m really enjoying this meme! Life After Life is buried in my TBR too, and the Ngaio Marsh. So I vote for those, so you can let me know if they should be moved up list too 🙂

Very clever, Cleo, and some great books there, too. I’m happy to see you have the Host, the Atkinson, and Turow, and, of course, the Christie on your list. I’ll be especially interested in what you think of them.

Impressive! I’ve read some of these, like American Heiress, Life After Life, and Presumed Innocent.
Congrats on spelling out these books with your blog name!

Very nice and quite an assortment of books. I’ve read Presumed Innocent, so I would vote for that one to go first. Have also read the Christie book, but I’m trying to remember it. Probably needs a reread.

The only one I have read yet is Life after Life. I loved it but you need to be in the mood for a long book first.
