Cathy at Cathy 746 has a yearly challenge to read twenty books over the summer months starting on 1 June 2017 and running until 3 September 2017, and once again I’ve decided to join her.
My aim this year was to read all twenty books in the allotted time span but the plan has been somewhat disrupted, however despite only posting reviews for books 1 – 5 of the challenge (you can see the original list the master page here) I have actually finished reading the first set of 10 with reviews to follow, and so it’s time to choose the next set in the hope I will magically get these read before the cut-off date!

My original second list looked a wee bit on the bleak side so I chose some cheerier books to break it up but never fear there is plenty of murder to get me through August!

Oh, you have some great reads there, Cleo. I’ve been wanting to read the Koch, so I’ll be really interested in what you think of that one. And you’ve got a Robinson and Christie in there; can’t go wrong with them! I’ll look forward to your reviews.

I’m hoping for some swift reads with this set Margot given that I have many other book reading obligations so picked the books I thought I’d find exceptionally engaging.

The Koch would be my pick, and the Christie, of course. You may be able to tempt me with The Ripper of Waterloo Road though… we shall see!

I’ve had the Koch since Christmas and keep eyeing it up – I hope it is as good as the other two! I still have five to review from the first set!!

You were smart to break your 20 into two sets – that left more room for flexibility and made it look more manageable I bet. I’ve read 9 and reviewed 7 so far, so I’m not really thinking I’ll make it to 20 by September! But it’s okay – I still have enjoyed myself!
You know I love the Atwood and I love Christie but I’ve not read that one yet. good looking bunch of books!
