I am currently reading Rat Run by Caro Ramsay which was published for kindle on 1 August 2016. This is the latest Anderson and Costello series.

Next up is The Rehearsal by Eleanor Catton a choice from my 20 Books of Summer, a challenge that I hope to finish at least 15 books from having realigned my expectations!

Cleopatra Loves Books 
I read The Rehearsal a few months ago. It was an interesting book with some clever perspectives – I do suggest you give it a decent go at the start as it took me a few chapters to get into it (and from memory the chronology was a bit all over the place in the beginning).

I’m reading a knitting memoir by one of the big names in the knitting world. I like her style of writing. I just finished listening to Jane Eyre today. 15 discs. I had to renew it twice to get through it all.

Interesting choices. I should borrow from this and mix up my reading too. I have been on psychological thrillers non-stop for months now.The rehearsal does seem interesting.Happy reading.

You’ve just reminded me (thank you!) I still have to read another Christie this year. But, as luck would have it, my library doesn’t seem to have any of the ones on my shortlist 😦 I really want to go for a Marple story next (because I’ve only read Poirot).

I really need to read some Agatha Christie! I love the Poirot and Miss Marple TV series, but I have never actually read any of the books! *hangs head*

Great choices. I’ve just finished The Last Days of Jack Sparks so have to choose my next read. I did have it lined up but then Closed Casket, the new Poirot by Sophie Hannah arrived and I’m very tempted….

Good mix this week! I’m waiting to hear what you think of the Catton, since I haven’t been able to make up my mind to whether to read it or not. I did love The Luminaries though – she can certainly write!
