I am currently reading Now That You’re Gone by Julie Corbin. This author first came to my attention with her debut psychological suspense novel, Tell Me No Secrets.

The eagle-eyed among you may notice that this was my next read last week except I failed to read my schedule properly and/or forgot and opened up entirely the wrong book! I read The Long Fall by Julia Crouch instead!
I have just finished The Kill by Jane Casey which was an exceptionally enjoyable read.

Next I am going to read Someone Else’s Wedding by Tamar Cohen, having enjoyed the two previous books by this author I think I’m in for a treat.

I endlessly shuffle the schedule but last week was a mistake. I have a problem with names and mixed up the Julia with the Julie when picking up my kindle! duh! Thanks for sharing your link with me 🙂

This is a great idea! Thank you for sharing your list of reads. I want to check out Now That You’re Gone, just based on the blurb! Also, thank you kindly for visiting my blog recently. I see you enjoyed a few of my posts. I have released my memoir, part 1 of a series, and would be tickled if you gave it a read (it’s an easy quick read over a single cuppa whatever.) Thank you so very much! Well then sounds like you can relate. And yes, it is indeed a short read. Most have said they can get through it over a cup (or two) of coffee or tea in one sitting. It is the first in my memoir series, so there will be more!

Yes I recently read another Tamar Cohen book, The Broken as well as her debut The Mistress’s Revenge and I love her writing style so I’m looking forward to this one.

I haven’t got too far into this but I’m already hooked. I’ve really enjoyed Julie Corbin’s previous books, particularly her debut Tell Me No Lies. You really can’t go wrong with a title that has secrets or lies in it 😉

The Kill looks like an interesting read – with a likeable cover, completely going against the whole ‘don’t judge a book…’ – but sometimes it can’t be helped. Might go and check it out, buy it in my next book haul.

This has been a great series, I’d suggest you start with The Burning which is the first one. I agree whereas the cover isn’t the only factor it is much easier to choose a book if it has an appealing cover 🙂
