Clean out your E-reader Challenge Starting November 1

Because reading is better than real life

Welcome to my start-up post in Clean out your E-reader Challenge that runs for the whole month of November. Since today is day one, we are sharing the books we are planning to read during the challenge, and I am doing a spring-clean which means I aim to read between 5 and 10 books on my e-reader which are free or almost free (under £2.50)

Since I have a large collection of ARCs and cheap books on my kindle I decided this was a great opportunity to make a real effort to clear some!

Remember to visit Fantasy Is More Fun and Because Reading is better than real life so you can both sign up in the linky and participate in the giveaway.

Here is the list of books on my E-reader that I’d like to read for the challenge:

The Moment Keeper by Buffy Andrews

The Moment Keeper

Morning Frost by James Henry

Morning Frost

The Sleeper by Gillian White

The Sleeper

Emma’s Secret by Steena Holmes

Emma's Secret

Four Widows by Helen MacArthur

Four Widows

Room by Emma Donoghue

Room

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Gone Girl

Telling Stories by Beverley Jones

Telling Stories

A Life for a Life by Tim Ellis

The Half-Life of Hannah by Nick Alexander

Hopefully I will get all 10 of these read before 30 November!

    1. I often shun books that are hyped but I had read a previous book by Gillian Flynn so bought this on a Daily Deal… can’t quite believe I haven’t got around to it yet…. I’ll compare notes once it’s turn finally comes 😉

  1. I have tons upon tons of free e-books on my tablet and I’ve been meaning to read some of them, but I just have so many books on my “to read” list to get around to them. I figured this would give me a good excuse to finally read a few of them. Plus it knocks out my challenge for the month – I’m trying to participate in at least one a month if I can 🙂 Good luck with the challenge.

  2. I’ve already started reading toward my challenge goal 😉 Mainly because I’m doing netgalley books and two of them will expire November 2nd. So I’m starting the challenge in a hurry…

Do you know which book you’ll start with?
Room is great but has a very touching subject – as you may well know. I could read no more than 50 pages in one sitting but it was well worth the effort I put into reading it.

    Cheers, Katarina 🙂

    1. I have to start with the Moment Keeper as that has an expiry of 7 November, then it will be Morning Frost as that expires soon too. I have had Room for ages and just not got to it and I think I’m one of the only people that hasn’t read Gone Girl yet! Happy reading Katarina 🙂

  3. I hadn’t heard about this but am off now to find out more about it because there are definitely books on my e-reader that I need to put to bed. Thanks for mentioning it.

  4. Good luck on this challenge! I’m a bit snowed under with physical books at the moment but I definitely need to make an effort to clean out my ereader at some time.
